The PSCA was started by a group of very positive locals in 1993.

The first project was to establish a meeting place; the community hall was born in 1999.

The PSCA benefits the whole of our community by means of keeping them informed of the progress in town & generating social events and gatherings that draw the community together.

The PSCA prides itself in being a very proactive volunteer run community association, with many great accolades accomplished.

We run clean up days & social events for important times of the year for all of our community to attend. We liaise with the community by means of hand delivered news letters, emails & display events on notice boards around town. We also project manage grant developments in Point Samson, design open park lands & source sculptures to enhance our beautiful town.

Residents with passion and time to develop a specific project are offered practicle support, guidance  and funding assitance where possible.

Projects in past include;

Centenary Park, Town Entry Statement, Community Park, Town Murals, Viewing Platforms & other works

The PSCA manages several parks and gardens throughout the local community and liaises with the City of Karratha for upkeep of City assetts to ensure condition of their parks are maintained to acceptable standards. With a lot of hard work and dedication from our community, Point Samson won Tidy Towns in 2010.

Through community events, flyers, hand delivered newsletters and word of mouth, the PSCA provides as much information and feedback as possible to and from the Point Samson Community and the City  of Karratha.
